The golden-pink and dusky purple-blue colors of sunrise (and sunset) have always been among my favorite sights in nature. Manifested in a beautiful rose, what a combination! And less fleeting. Feeling those colors as I painted this was pure joy. The back side, the hidden beauty of flowers, I also can't overlook. This one I had to capture on paper to remember.

To match the look of the original painting, choose Watercolor Fine Art Paper as the Medium. Note thaton your monitor or device it may appear bright white but is actually a natural white, unbleached cotton paper. If you choose to add a mat, it will also be a natural white color that blends well with the paper.
The original was painted on Arches hot press cotton rag paper using Winsor & Newton professional watercolors.
