Watercolor painting of a honey bee pollinating a chive blossom This is the third in my series of watercolor paintings of honey bees pollinating herbs. I worked from my own reference photo taken in my garden and came to call the series "Bee Aware." It works nicely paired with my Honey Bee and Oregano, as well as in a trio, adding Honey Bee and Golden Marjoram to the grouping.
Choose from several options for wall display. Click on "1 Medium" and hover over the tiny ? icon at the top of each for a description.
To match the look of the original painting, choose Watercolor Fine Art Paper as the Medium. Note thaton your monitor or device it may appear bright white but is actually a natural white, unbleached cotton paper. If you choose to add a mat, it will also be a natural white color that blends well with the paper.
Original painting is 10 x 8 inches on Arches hot press paper with Winsor & Newton professional watercolors.
